dad busted out da takoyaki maker friday nite + BAM what a party. thanx to good friends in japan for bringing that over – can’t wait to play with you again ava + niko.
here’s what i work on w mom after ryder’s in bed. actually this is more from the old haus then the new one but still the same stuff.
…we’re bringing our A game!
luv our new found hiking mecca of mt hood. first time for us to really get out for a day hike together. opens the door to a whole new world.
so not counting all the 2 + 3 word razzle dazzle that my little bro’s been spitting for awhile now, we got his first full sentence this weekend. dad took the two of us to the local bike shop to look for grips for my new bike (thanks neighbors). ry + i each scored a sticker + had to peel + place immediately.
of course, once placement was achieved, ry decided to change his mind. dad said too late it’s sticking + tried to show him how it wasn’t going to happen. to which ry blurted out, “i want da stickaa!”
nice work little bro, keep it comin.
another wild monday nite of games.
three whole years. unbelievable. thanks for everything everyone!
had a great time with dad skipping school for my birthday. woke up + mom had decorated the house + put 50 balloons in my room for me to wake up to. made waffles with her + then didn’t have to put on my clothes for hours.
dropped ryder @ school for a bit, had lunch w/ mimi + poppa + then my very first movie @ a real movie theater – RIO. wanted to see winnie-the-pooh but it’s not out yet.
skipped my nap + made it thru the entire movie. my jaw hung open for the first few minutes as it was loud + the screen was huge but i am into it.
then grabbed donuts, picked up ryder early, played around the house + had pizza for dinner. opened gifts + had my star cake. thanks everyone.

so this was a few rainy weeks ago but great time. 3 day trip to the beach house. special guests courtesy of our parents were matya + theresa. thanx ladies.
so we’ve really been enjoying mommy day that we have once a week. found that if we really push our luck we can sometimes end of with these…… BROWNIES.
ryder’s just starting to get the hang of it. he looks good in brownie though don’t you think.
another rockin daddy day last week. made it out to the curious george exhibit at the children’s museum + then home for naps. after that took a trip through the park + all the way down to the river. great ‘hood + good times with my ‘brudda’.
