while we were in pdx my parents took us over to miles’ place (that’s him on the right). he’s a good guy, quiet but on the verge of big things. we played with his toys, the second shot, + had a quality time. he’s right in between us age wise so is a good friend to have around. + my dad’s known his dad since kindergarten so good peeps.
they have film of me in super 8. check this out from my dad’s office with their friend filmmaker nico just a few weeks before my brother was born.
you might remember my good german friend anna from a few months back. well, to make a long story short our fine country won’t let her back in so we’ve had to settle for her brother – not a bad deal really. flo is a superb guy + made the magic happen on my dad’s friend nico’s documentary on the blackfeet indians. haven’t been over to the rez yet but my dad tells me good things.
here we are in the office planning our next move with anna.

so only a month left from today until my little brother arrives. getting excited to play with him.
went out last weekend to play with a slew of other kids my age + celebrate margo’s 2nd birthday. here’s how it looked.
that’s me. thanx for the shirt shelley!!!

my mom met this great girl in grad school + we’re good friends now. she came all the way from new mexico to see me (+my parents too i guess). we bopped around town, went to the lake, took the gondola to the top of the mountain + generally had a lot of laughs. thanx matya, good luck with the move – see you soon.

so hit the road last weekend making my first trip to butte, montana. that’s right – the berkeley open pit copper mine + home of evel knievel. just me + 100,000 of my closest friends for the 71st annual national folk festival.
liked the world champion breakdance crew the massive monkees + from zimbabwe thomas mapfumo + the blacks unlimited. and cool camping with the costains, my friends parkin + ladd (see below – parkin’s the strong one).

this video says it all. my german’s going nowhere now.
