great time for halloween. really got it this year being that i’m two now. cash showed me how to really trick or treat it up. plus, aunt dani + uncle mark joined us this year so we had fun all weekend. hit the local parade + stayed up late sorting loot. already have ideas for next year though like dad’s idea to make the chariot into a drag racer with me as the driver…

two of them here both of them my big bro, cash. i’m still working on words though i have down “thank you”, “snack”, “watch me” + “me do, me do”.
daddy was reading to cash in mama’s bed + dad went out to turn of his tea water as it was whistling. cash asked what he was doing + daddy told him. cash quickly reminded him that we only drink milk or water at bedtime. good catch big bro!
a few days ago a friend of mama’s lost her dad. we were having dinner when dad told us that, “kim lost her daddy”. cash thought about this for only a few seconds + then smartly replied that after dinner he would get his headlamp + go looking for him.
be aware :: this is about a year old now but since it turned up i’m spittin’ it out here.
just for fun took a weekday adventure to an elk refuge with dad, poppa & uncle pudge. Got to ride in a big tractor to feed this group of bulls – 24 of ‘em. (uncle pudge & poppa were drooling.) Then a big lunch at camp 8 on 26.
Didn’t even sleep on the way home so had my first real day without a nap. + i did great according to mom & dad.
luv our new found hiking mecca of mt hood. first time for us to really get out for a day hike together. opens the door to a whole new world.
so not counting all the 2 + 3 word razzle dazzle that my little bro’s been spitting for awhile now, we got his first full sentence this weekend. dad took the two of us to the local bike shop to look for grips for my new bike (thanks neighbors). ry + i each scored a sticker + had to peel + place immediately.
of course, once placement was achieved, ry decided to change his mind. dad said too late it’s sticking + tried to show him how it wasn’t going to happen. to which ry blurted out, “i want da stickaa!”
nice work little bro, keep it comin.
we decided to give one to mom + dad the other nite. we polished off dinner + were upstairs playing (this is ryder + i so you know) as mom + dad sat down to eat. mom apparently got worried cause it was too quiet + decided to pay us a little visit just before she sat down.
what she saw didn’t make her happy + dad was upstairs in a heartbeat….
ryder got ahold of a bottle of ibuprofen + OPENED THE BABY PROOF TOP + SHOOK IT ALL OVER THE FLOOR IN OUR ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!
needless to say we had some questions to answer, at least i did as rye isn’t exactly talking much yet. i admitted that i only tried one but kept things lively but giving different answers as to how many rye at – 0, 4, 0…… quite exciting for a bit there.
once mom sorted out the dose we needed to get our stomachs pumped (it’s a high #) we all calmed down. a bit.
just for fun i went downstairs + pulled an ink pen apart – had to figure out how that spring action works. dad + mom called us “inquisitive”…… among a few other things….
