with only a few days until my big #4 thought we’d relive a few from the past. well, since there are only a few in the past maybe just one or two.
this is one of dad’s faves from #2 in montana.

better late than never. with my 4th birthday week well under way thought we better get this out for your viewing pleasure. ryder + i have been busier then ever (gettin dirty, finding candy, ridin’ bikes, you know) so this took awhile.
was a great time + four should be even more fun!!!

three whole years. unbelievable. thanks for everything everyone!
had a great time with dad skipping school for my birthday. woke up + mom had decorated the house + put 50 balloons in my room for me to wake up to. made waffles with her + then didn’t have to put on my clothes for hours.
dropped ryder @ school for a bit, had lunch w/ mimi + poppa + then my very first movie @ a real movie theater – RIO. wanted to see winnie-the-pooh but it’s not out yet.
skipped my nap + made it thru the entire movie. my jaw hung open for the first few minutes as it was loud + the screen was huge but i am into it.
then grabbed donuts, picked up ryder early, played around the house + had pizza for dinner. opened gifts + had my star cake. thanks everyone.

i’m putting this up for cash because obviously it took him a long time to put it together. now that he’s two + all he’s got a schedule + busy + everything.

ok, ryder here + just had a great first birthday. more soon as we have to put it all together but should be good – voodoo donuts, omsi, crazy play time + of course the photo shoot. here’s a taste….
had a great bday, thanks everyone. fun day at school (thanks for the cupcakes mom) + with the fam. i really loved getting a few balloons too, especially the yellow ones. too bad i only held on for an hour or so. oh well, at least i don’t mind waving bye as they float away.
can’t believe i’m almost 2. getting excited as finally starting to understand the number two. not so solid on that alphabet thing though as i really think that a, b, d, e makes more sense then whatever everyone else is saying.
anyway, the big 2 is only a few days away now + the gifts are pouring in – thanks everybody. here i am on an early sneak peak on a book about ME from my cousins + aunt molly/uncle ryan in pdx. great idea – i look cool with elmo + big bird.
just had my favorite day – my first birthday! and here’s the best video yet to prove it.
wow, that’s a fair number of candles. but then again i haven’t been around any cake and candles before so maybe it’s not so bad.
either way, dad and i have a blast with you everyday mom – we love laughing with you. wish you the best birthday ever… and the only one where i won’t be having any of that cake!
dad and i put together this cool pre-me print of mom (and me) for her big day. isn’t she great!!!
starting to get a hang of this. eat, fill a diaper, smile to make up for the trouble and sleep. of course, now that i’m 4 months old i’m kind of an old pro. i don’t even sit still for the old man to take pictures anymore. though i did roll over for mom, dad and laurel last night.
thanx to the crew at happy trails learning center as well – the balloons were much appreciated.
