so last weekend was the first time mom + dad took off together without me + cash. granted, i’ve only been here for 8 months or so but cash’s been around twice that long. so good for them. trip to norcal for college friends’ wedding. obviously there’s no pictures for something like this but thought i should make a note of it anyway.
big bro + i had a blast with mimi + poppa in portland + didn’t even get lonely until the last day (day3). we nearly ate everything they had on hand + really riled up the cousins but had a good time doing it.
more soon.

they have film of me in super 8. check this out from my dad’s office with their friend filmmaker nico just a few weeks before my brother was born.
here’s last years fun. let the games begin.
so hit the road last weekend making my first trip to butte, montana. that’s right – the berkeley open pit copper mine + home of evel knievel. just me + 100,000 of my closest friends for the 71st annual national folk festival.
liked the world champion breakdance crew the massive monkees + from zimbabwe thomas mapfumo + the blacks unlimited. and cool camping with the costains, my friends parkin + ladd (see below – parkin’s the strong one).

this is great fun, can’t wait for the next trip.
mom, i hope philly’s fun. i really wanted to come with you but dad told me it wasn’t a good idea so this is as far as i got. have fun. come home soon.

here’s the lowdown below but great time all around. managed to eat a little sand, see some animals at the zoo and generally entertain everyone i met along the way.

so much to do lately little time for getting it all out to you. great stuff though and a ton more coming. wanted to say thanks to portland for being such a great place to celebrate my 7 month birthday.
had a great trip there with mom and dad even hitting up missoula on the way home so dad could work for some fancy mag called cosmo.
anyway, great to catch up with the west coast family and especially those cousins – here i am manhandling them with a true montana touch.
and trying to behave along with my uncle pudge.
and a great group shot before our fake thanksgiving.
and lastly, my good friend miles and his parents – who happen to be friends of my p’s. dad says he’s known this funny guy since like kindergarten or something.
hope you all have a great holiday. i’m ready for my very first turkey day even though i haven’t had meat yet. will be celebrating with the east coast grandparents so grammy and fran better have their quick feet on as i’m rolling around like a madman these days. crawling ain’t too far away. have a great feast friends.
