…we’re bringing our A game!
luv our new found hiking mecca of mt hood. first time for us to really get out for a day hike together. opens the door to a whole new world.
was great while it lasted. starting to turn though + to be honest we can’t wait. spent a bit of time this weekend running around in the rain + then straight into a hot bath. miss the pool already. but ry + i both dig our rain jackets.
great visits from friends lately, especially theresa from montana this last weekend. she’s fun one that crazy girl is. + she’s got great taste in shoes.
we managed to squeeze in a hike on mt hood a few weekends ago as well as some fun time with mimi + papa + out to the cousins soccer game. have that up soon. in the meantime, ry’s learning how to sing happy birthday to himself + i’m telling him all about halloween.
so not counting all the 2 + 3 word razzle dazzle that my little bro’s been spitting for awhile now, we got his first full sentence this weekend. dad took the two of us to the local bike shop to look for grips for my new bike (thanks neighbors). ry + i each scored a sticker + had to peel + place immediately.
of course, once placement was achieved, ry decided to change his mind. dad said too late it’s sticking + tried to show him how it wasn’t going to happen. to which ry blurted out, “i want da stickaa!”
nice work little bro, keep it comin.
so cash had it first but then he passed the pneumonia on to me. i’m feeling great now so good in fact, that this is dad + i up at 10:30pm two weeks ago. either way, we’ve been keeping mom + dad up.
ps – i’ve been luvin’ my nacks (snacks) + mum (gum) lately!
wow what a summer. managed to help mom + dad with a move, jump into a cool new school, fly across the country for vacation + rock the island back there with our cousins like nobody’s business.
more on all that soon but here’s a few of the latest. one of me in my new skool construction work clothes as i’m all about helping dad with the haus. i’m digging the drill + hammer especially whereas cash doesn’t seem so into it.
the second shot is cash + i at the zoo earlier this week. he’s finally on the mend after a week with pneumonia. my big bro is one tough mofo.
firework-tastic fourth celebration recently with the west coast family here in oregon. uncle pudge was in charge of the fireworks with help from uncle ryan, dad jumped in the water fight, mimi made a huge steak dinner on the bbq + we were in charge of chasing the cousins + having a great time.

so the deal is done + this is all we’ve been hearing lately. can’t wait to get in soon but in the meantime thought we’d do our part + clean out the frig in the new place.
wet spring here + finally getting glimpses of summer but then not. been here one year now but already getting used to it.
here we are enjoying a sun break recently. things are all crazy now as we just bought a new house. mom + dad are doing something called “remodel” for a month while we basically hold down the fort.
have more on that soon as we really dig the place – especially our new family room + bunk beds. not to mention one fine backyard. hoot hoot.
another rockin daddy day last week. made it out to the curious george exhibit at the children’s museum + then home for naps. after that took a trip through the park + all the way down to the river. great ‘hood + good times with my ‘brudda’.
